UK Mortgage Rates – Purchase 70% Rate (5 Year Fixed)

Post Office Money has topped a list of UK banks to offer the best buy-to-let 70% mortgage rates (5-year fixed). Buy-to-let mortgages have doubled since September 2020 with people keen to benefit from the growing rental demand in the UK.

While at the same time, UK banks are increasingly under pressure to protect and grow revenue during challenging economic conditions. Post Office Money’s 3.05% rate is the lowest on the market with Virgin Money (3.2%), Barclays (3.26%), Natwest (3.44%) and Lloyds Bank (3.49%) completing the best five.

Post Office Money was launched in 2015 as an umbrella brand although the bank has been offering mortgages since 2004.
